Both books in this one lot. Both CGC cases are in great condition with no damage. Both books come in heavy plastic mylar-like protective sleeve. Any glare in the photos is from reflection, not defects or damage to the case. The 1976 Safeguard reprint is on newsprint, while the newer Loot Crate reprint is on gloss stock.

General note about Newton Rings. Encapsulated comic books sometime exhibit a visual distortion, when held at certain angles, of oily rainbow patterns which are called Newton Rings. These anomalies are not on the book itself, and are only an effect of the cases inner well pressing against the outer capsule. The Newton Rings can occur in varying degrees from barely noticeable to significantly visible. There is unfortunately very little to be done in terms of re-holdering books that exhibit these rings, as there is not guarantee from the company responsible that the effect will not occur on the re-holdered book to the same degree or more.
